These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the service provider (hereinafter referred to as the „therapist“) and the client.
The therapist is Lenka Kolárová, with a registered office at Mochovská 521/31, 190 00 Prague 9 – Hloubětín, ID: 45777705.
A client is any person who books and purchases an individual therapy session or a prepaid therapy package.
Home-based sessions are provided only in cases involving individuals after surgery, women after childbirth, and infants. In such cases, the client shall cover a travel fee of CZK 500 per hour of travel.

Clients may book individual therapy sessions and therapy packages via email, telephone, or the online booking system on the therapist’s website.
To ensure the best therapeutic experience, clients must personally book their appointments.
Payments are made via bank transfer to the therapist’s account.

Payment for individual sessions must be made in full prior to the session. The appointment is confirmed only after the full payment has been received.
For therapy packages, a deposit equal to the price of one standalone session is required to secure the first appointment. The remaining balance (after deducting the deposit) must be paid on-site at the first session (either by bank transfer or in cash).

Clients should be aware that a cat is present at the therapist’s premises. If a client has a cat allergy, they must notify the therapist in advance so that alternative arrangements can be considered, including home-based therapy.

Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
If a session is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time or if the client does not attend without prior notice, the session will be charged in full. No refund or rescheduling will be provided.

Therapy packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
Any unused sessions after this period will expire without refund.
Clients may transfer their prepaid package to another person (e.g., family members or friends) by notifying the therapist in advance.

Clients have the right to withdraw from their package purchase within 14 days, provided they have not used any sessions.
If some sessions have already been used, the refund will cover only the remaining balance, with completed sessions deducted at the package rate.
No refunds are available after 14 days, but clients may still use their package within its validity period or transfer it to another person.

Therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment or addiction counselling. Clients must disclose any medical conditions that may impact the therapy process.

The therapist reserves the right to decline treatment for:
- Clients with severe mental illnesses (e.g., severe depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia) or substance addiction, even if they are undergoing treatment.
- Clients who exhibit coercive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior.

The therapist reserves the right to terminate a treatment package if the relationship of trust is compromised (e.g., due to coercive behavior by the client or unforeseen circumstances). In such cases, the client will be refunded the pro-rata amount for unused sessions.

Clients must provide accurate health information in the intake questionnaire to allow the therapist to assess whether treatment is suitable. Clients also agree to update the therapist if their health status changes (e.g., serious physical or mental illness, surgery, or substance use).
If any such change occurs, the therapist may reassess their cooperation with the client, and the termination provisions shall apply accordingly.

The therapist provides services with professional care but is not responsible for the client’s physical condition or the outcomes of any lifestyle changes. Clients assume full responsibility for their own health and well-being.

Protection of Personal Data
Clients‘ personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will not be shared with third parties.

Clients have the right to access their personal data in accordance with GDPR. However, therapy notes are the professional documentation of the therapist and may not be disclosed.
Client data is strictly confidential and will only be accessed by the therapist unless explicit written consent is given (e.g., for anonymous case studies).

The therapist reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions, with the latest version being published on the website.
Clients who have provided their email address will receive notifications of significant changes.
