Panchakarma treatment program in India

Panchakarma treatment program in India

Do you want to be kind to your body? To allow it space and strength so that it can get rid of old traumas and emotional burdens in depth? To finally breathe freely?

Try to relieve the body with the old Ayurvedic method of Panchakarma, which you will experience right in its cradle. This work with the body is also extremely important for working with trauma. How is that?

According to Ayurveda, panchakarma therapy is aimed at detoxifying the human body. “Pancha” means five and “karma” means treatment. It includes 5 methods that are used to address the energy imbalance of the “doshas”, the three basic energies in the body.

Because it releases toxins from the body using five methods, it not only achieves the establishment of healthy digestion, healing of joints, elimination of headaches and other diseases, rejuvenation and weight loss – but also releases huge energy reserves. You can then use them to move forward in life and on topics that are difficult for you to deal with in the long term.

From the point of view of Ayurveda, we can say that the Panchakarma method works primarily with the “vata” dosha. Vata provides space for all vital functions and processes – it manifests itself within the framework of blood circulation and lymph, digestion, but also psychosomatic processes (connection of soul and body). Therefore, balancing it will not only bring us physical healing, but also help heal psychological trauma.

From the point of view of our nervous system and from the point of view of Western medicine, we know about the connection of the vagal nerve with the psyche. This nerve (vagus nerve) connects our brain with internal organs – mainly, but not only, the digestive ones. It gives them a signal to engage if the body is relaxed. And vice versa. So the equation goes both ways: if the mind is relaxed, the body can work. And if the body is cleansed and our microbiome is healthy, it gives clear signals to the brain regarding mood, immunity and other important functions.

In addition to the Panchakarma method, a big shift allows you to move to the warm and kind environment of India, which allows you to look at your own life from a completely different perspective. The proximity of the mountains or the sea and the inspiring, ancient Indian culture is a therapeutic experience and a holiday in one.
