About me
About me
My journey started with fine art and graphic design, which I not only studied but also actively did for several years. Creativity has always been with me, and although today I am mainly involved in therapy, it remains an integral part of my work – through imagery, symbolism and sensitivity.
My interest in the body, dance and alternative approaches to healing led me to therapy. I am fascinated by how the body holds stories, emotions and wounds – and how through gentle touch and perception we can gradually release these layers.
The Path to Therapy
In 2009, I embarked on my professional therapeutic path, which has since become my life’s mission.
I lived in England for several years, where I:
– worked with children and the elderly,
– worked as a body therapist at music festivals,
– studied holistic medicine and body care.
I was educated at the British School of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy where I was guided by experienced teachers and osteopaths. Within two years, I learned to feel the body, its rhythms and support natural self-healing processes.
I also received specialized training in working with babies and mothers – a subject close to my heart. Today I see clients across ages and topics – from newborns with birth trauma, to adults with chronic pain, to those carrying deep wounds from childhood.
Working with Trauma
In recent years I have been focusing more on working with trauma – both physical and emotional. This area has become one of the main pillars of my practice.
I have undergone three years of training in Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing® method. This method appealed to me because of its gentleness and its ability to help people reconnect with their bodies, resources and nervous systems – without having to relive the pain.
Trauma therapy allows me to work with deeper layers of pain – both physical and mental. With the tools I use, I help the body and nervous system find balance again. I also often use drama therapy and work with rewriting old emotional patterns.
I work with clients who have experienced abuse, dissociation, deep feelings of loneliness or “inner freezing”. Many come with physical symptoms – headaches, tension, fatigue – that have untold stories behind them. My role is to be supportive, to be present and to restore confidence – in my body, in my life and in myself.
What do I offer
My approach is holistic and always sensitively tailored to specific needs.
The basis of my work is:
– Craniosacral Biodynamic Therapy (for adults, children and babies),
– Somatic Experiencing® – working with trauma and the nervous system,
– elements of Thai massage and touch work,
– constellation approach, symbols, working with childhood patterns,
– working with the inner child, themes of relationship, healing through acceptance and closeness,
– Sourcing techniques – connecting to positive inner resources,
– visualization, working with inner images and guides,
– drama therapy, voice and movement – as tools for releasing and rewriting old emotions.
I offer therapies in both English and Czech.
Inspiration from travels and spirituality
India was a great inspiration for me, where I returned repeatedly for my own healing. Ayurveda, meditation, silence and meeting local teachers opened new perspectives on health and human nature.
I was also strongly influenced by meeting His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the practice of Tibetan Buddhism, which brings compassion, peace and mindful presence to my work.
Creativity, Voice and Everyday Joys
Creativity permeates not only my work but also my everyday life.
– I’ve taken voice and acting classes – this allows me to work more sensitively with my voice and the expression of emotion.
– I create – I work with the camera, draw, take photos, do theatre – and this energy naturally spills over into my therapy sessions.
– I love nature and travel – they connect me to the simplicity of being and inner peace.
– And in my therapy space, you’ll often meet my feline companion – her quiet presence sometimes relaxes more than words could ever do.
My Vision
I believe the body has wisdom and the ability to heal itself – if we give it space, attention and care.
My role is to be a support on the journey to trust – in the body, in the world, in my own life story.
Important Notice
The therapy I offer is supportive and complementary – it does not replace conventional medical, psychiatric or psychological care.
For clients who have been under the care of a psychiatrist for a long time, the course of therapy may be more challenging and require more mutual openness and realistic expectations.
I am not responsible for conditions that have arisen in the past – but I do offer a safe space, acceptance and support on the path to greater wholeness.
Thank you for your trust.
